Retouched up the old piece, and I still like the classic look. The no frills original/Alex Ross Captain Marvel is still my favorite take on the Big Red Cheese.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and although I wasn't keen on Zachary Levi at first, he does grow on you. While it has it's flaws and some odd choices in the story, the movie doesn't try too hard to be something from a different franchise and provides a lighthearted approach (think the old Tom Hanks BIG movie mixed with some classic Superman). With the current slew of super hero movies, it's nice to finally have characters you actually can care about. Above all, it has heart. This is obviously THE #captainmarvel for me. Go watch it..! .
